In FBiH, a total of 400 people were tested, 45 positive for coronavirus

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Institute of Public Health of the Federation of BiH published data on the epidemiological situation on Tuesday until ten o'clock. It is stated that so far in the Federation of BiH, 400 people have been tested for coronavirus, and 45 of them have confirmed COVID-19 disease.

In FBiH, two deaths from coronavirus infection have been registered, both in the area of Bihać.

The highest number of coronavirus infections, 22, was recorded in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, followed by Zenica-Doboj Canton with eight, Una-Sana Canton with five, and Bosanska-Podrinje with four. Sarajevo Canton has three cases of COVID-19 disease, and one each in Posavina, Central Bosnia, and West Herzegovina Canton.

The highest number of coronavirus tests, 153, was performed in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, followed by Tuzla Canton, where 94 tests were performed and all were negative. So far, there are no positive coronavirus cases in two cantons: Tuzla and Canton 0 (Livno).

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared a "global pandemic" on March 11 due to the spread of the coronavirus. Also, the WHO declared Europe the new epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, which first appeared at the end of last year in the Chinese city of Wuhan.
