In FBiH, production of potatoes, beans, corn... increased, production of apples, plums, tobacco decreased

According to data from the Federal Statistical Office, in 2016, corn grain production in FBiH was 243,760 tons, which is 29.8 percent more than in 2015. In the production of industrial crops, soybean production increased by 162.5 percent, and tobacco production decreased by 13.4 percent compared to 2015.

Potato production is 228,009 tons, an increase of 12.6 percent, and bean grain production is 47.0 percent higher compared to last year's production.

In the production of fodder crops, an increase was recorded in the production of clover by 9.7 percent, alfalfa by 10.9 percent, corn for fodder by 31.6 percent, and grass-clover mixtures by 12.1 percent compared to 2015.

In fruit production, the realized production of apples is 23.1 percent lower and plums by 6.6 percent compared to 2015.

The total grape production is 9.2 percent higher compared to 2015, writes Patria.
