In FBiH, April 16th declared Day of Mourning

Sarajevo, (Patria) - Due to the tragic deaths of four employees of the "Kovačići" Primary School in Sarajevo, the Government of the Federation of BiH, at today's emergency session in Sarajevo, decided to declare April 16, 2019, as the Day of Mourning in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Members of the Federal Government expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and the work collective due to their great loss.

The Day of Mourning is observed by mandatory flying of the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina at half-mast, i.e. on the flagpole, on the buildings of the Government and institutions of the Federation of BiH.

On the Day of Mourning, cultural and entertainment programs cannot be held in public places in the Federation of BiH, and media houses are obliged to harmonize and adapt their program content to the Day of Mourning.
