(Patria) - In the Federation of BiH, Monday, January 1st and Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, will be non-working days, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy announced today.
As the end of the calendar year 2023 approaches, the Ministry reminds that the Law on Holidays, which is applied as a federal law based on the Decree with the force of law on the adoption and application of federal laws, i.e., the Law on the Confirmation of Decrees with the force of law, stipulates that New Year's Day is a holiday and is celebrated for two days - January 1st and 2nd.
Accordingly, the non-working days in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are Monday, January 1st, and Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024.
On holidays, employers, institutions, administrative bodies, and other legal entities do not work.
