In the center of Sarajevo, a dealer and an armed man were arrested: Drugs and an unlicensed pistol were found

Members of the MUP KS arrested two people in the center of Sarajevo in the evening hours for assaulting an official and carrying weapons without a permit, as well as for possessing drugs, writes the BH news agency Patria.

In Jelića Street around 19:45, police officers of the I PU arrested J.S., born in 1986 in Sarajevo, where he resides, on suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of preventing an official from performing official duties and Article 52 of the Law on the Acquisition, Possession, and Carrying of Weapons and Ammunition.

- During the search, a "CZ" pistol, caliber 7.65 mm, with a magazine and 7 rounds of the same caliber, for which he does not have a permit from the competent authority, was found and confiscated.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed, and J.S. was handed over to the Department for Detention of Detained Persons of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton.

At 22:20 in Ferhadija Street, police officers of the I PU arrested P.A., born in 1992 in Sarajevo, where he resides, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal production and trafficking of narcotic drugs.

- During the search, 6 packages with a substance resembling the narcotic drug Speed, one package with a herbaceous substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana, and 13 ecstasy tablets were found and confiscated.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed, and P.A. was handed over to the Department for Detention of Detained Persons of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton.
