In BIH 40 new infections registered, 11 deceased

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the last 24 hours, 40 new coronavirus infections were registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 11 people died.

25 people infected in FBiH.

In the last 24 hours, 1,205 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 25 were positive for coronavirus. At the same time, two deaths from consequences of Covid-19 were registered.

New cases of infection were registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH, except for Posavina and Central Bosnia.

A total of 677,220 samples have been tested so far, and coronavirus has been confirmed in 133,295 people.

As of today, 122,323 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH. In the last 24 hours, 9 patients have recovered.

As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 5,221.

In RS, 11 new infections, nine people deceased

During the past 24 hours, 237 laboratory samples were tested in RS, and coronavirus was confirmed in 11 people. At the same time, nine deaths from consequences of Covid-19 were reported.

The Institute of Public Health stated that five men and seven women are infected, of whom five are middle-aged and six are elderly.

According to place of residence, three people each are from Banja Luka and Kneževo, and one each from Bijeljina, Prnjavor, Ribnik, Čelinac and Šipovo.

In the last 24 hours, nine deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health in which the presence of the virus was confirmed. These are elderly people, two of whom are from Doboj, Kotor Varoš and Laktaši, and one each from Kalinovik, Gradiška and Mrkonjić Grad.

So far, 64,045 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, and a total of 3,685 people have died in whom the test for the virus has been confirmed.

In RS, 45,936 people have recovered so far, and a total of 274,779 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in RS is 282, with 117 in the University Clinical Center and 165 in other hospitals. 34 people are on ventilators (21 in the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, 13 in other hospitals).

In RS, 2,895 people are currently under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 192,369 people.

In Brčko, four more people infected

In the last 24 hours, 155 samples were tested for coronavirus in the Brčko District, of which four were positive.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, 6,638 people have been infected in the Brčko District, and 327 people have died.

The number of recovered has increased to 6,115, and there are currently 196 active cases of infection.
