In BiH 406,685 people unemployed

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – According to official records from the Unified System for Registration, Control and Contribution Collection, the number of employed people in the Federation of BiH according to the place of residence of the employee was 534,631 at the end of June.

This number does not include persons who earn income on the basis of work contracts, temporary and occasional jobs, and author's contracts. 

According to data from the Agency for Statistics of BiH, in April 2019, which is the last published data, the number of employed persons in BiH was 827,121. The number of employed in RS is around 275,000, and in Brčko District around 20,000 people. 

The number of unemployed in BiH at the end of May is 406,685 people, of which 308,607 are in FBiH, 90,280 in RS, and 7,798 in Brčko District.
