In BIH 99 new cases from 1,089 tested

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - In 38 people in Republika Srpska, the presence of the coronavirus has been confirmed, the Institute of Public Health announced after testing 527 laboratory samples.

These are 19 males and 19 females, of whom 13 are younger, 20 middle-aged, and five elderly.

According to place of residence, 11 people are from Čelinac, five from Banja Luka, four from Bijeljina, three people each from Derventa and Laktaši, two each from Istočna Ilidža and Šamac, and one person each is from Bratunac, Doboj, Zvornik, Modriča, Mrkonjić Grad, Pale, Ugljevik, and Šipovo.

In the last 24 hours, two deaths have been reported to the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, in which the presence of the new coronavirus has been confirmed. These are an elderly woman from Gradiška and an elderly man from Pale.

So far, 7,802 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 264 people have died, in whom the test for the new coronavirus has been confirmed.

In Republika Srpska, a total of 4,879 people have recovered from the new coronavirus so far, and a total of 68,065 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in Republika Srpska is 206, at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska 55, and in general hospitals 151.

In Republika Srpska, 2,733 people are currently under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 53,664 people.

In the past 24 hours, 562 samples were reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 61 are positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases were registered in the Herzegovina-Neretva, Tuzla, Central Bosnia, Una-Sana, and Sarajevo Cantons. So far, a total of 127,281 samples have been tested, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 13,566 people.

As of today, 9,695 patients have recovered in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in the past 24 hours, recovery has been recorded in 43 patients. Currently, 3,490 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 are active.

Seven new deaths have been reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Five men from Jajce, Ljubuški, Posušje, Tešanj, and Travnik died, as well as two women from Kalesija and Zenica.

As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is 381, of which 250 are male and 131 are female.
