In BIH 819 new cases of infection, 19 people died

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – In BIH, 819 new cases of infection have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, and 19 people have died.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 2,770 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 575 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases were registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH. A total of 976,398 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 174,907 people.

In the past 24 hours, 4 people died in the Federation of BiH, from the West Herzegovina and Sarajevo Cantons, while four deaths were reported retroactively. The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 6,916.

In RS, 733 laboratory samples were tested, and the coronavirus was confirmed in 218 people.

In the last 24 hours, 14 deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska.

So far, 89,468 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and a total of 5,148 people have died who tested positive for coronavirus.

A total of 358,137 people have been tested in the Republic of Srpska.

The total number of hospitalized in the Republic of Srpska is 575, in the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska 234, and in other hospitals 357. 69 people are on ventilators (35 in the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, 34 in other hospitals).

Today, 26 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Brčko District of BiH from 130 tested samples. One person died, 51 recovered. The number of active cases in Brčko is 775.
