In BIH 79 new cases, eight people died

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the past 24 hours, 79 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in BiH. In the FBiH, out of 684 tested, 49 samples were positive, and in RS, out of 483 tested, 30 were positive.

New cases were registered in the Una-Sana, Central Bosnia, Herzegovina-Neretva, Tuzla, Canton 10, and Sarajevo Cantons. A total of 154,362 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 17,491 people.

Currently, there are 3,462 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.

In the past 24 hours, four people died, two men from Bugojno and Travnik, as well as two women from Kakanj and Tuzla, while four reported deaths are from the previous period.

As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 506, of which 332 are men and 174 are women.

In the last 24 hours, four deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republika Srpska, in which the presence of the new coronavirus was confirmed. These are three men and one woman of middle and old age from Gradiška (two people), Foča, and Doboj.

So far, 9,197 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 302 people have died who tested positive for the new coronavirus.

In Republika Srpska, a total of 6,200 people have recovered from the new coronavirus so far, and a total of 78,557 people have been tested.
