In BIH 658 new coronavirus cases, 22 more deaths

(Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 658 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in the past 24 hours, and 22 people have died from the consequences of COVID-19.

The latest data was announced on Thursday by the entity public health institutes and the Civil Protection Headquarters of Brčko District. In the past 24 hours, 1,476 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 442 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all cantons/counties in the Federation of BiH. So far, a total of 341,681 samples have been tested, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 71,933 people.

As of today, 52,862 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, 314 patients have recovered. Currently, there are 16,905 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.

In the past 24 hours, 8 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 2,166.

In the past 24 hours, 886 laboratory samples were tested in laboratories in Republika Srpska, and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 196 people.

In the last 24 hours, 11 deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of RS, in which the presence of coronavirus was confirmed.

So far, 37,032 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in RS, and a total of 1,774 people have died in whom the coronavirus test has been confirmed. So far, 23,293 people have recovered from the new coronavirus, and a total of 161,833 people have been tested. Currently, 7,920 people are under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 118,790 people.

Today, 20 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Brčko District of BiH. Three people died, two men and one woman.
