SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the past 24 hours, 240 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in BiH.
1,696 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 86 are positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH. A total of 423,361 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 80,832 people.
As of today, 72,692 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH. In the past 24 hours, 71 patients have recovered. There are currently 5,572 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.
In the past 24 hours, three new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 2,568.
In RS, 769 laboratory samples were tested, and the coronavirus was confirmed in 150 people.
In the last 24 hours, the Institute of Public Health of the Republika Srpska reported seven deaths of middle-aged and elderly people in whom the presence of coronavirus was confirmed. So far, 41,556 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 2,152 people have died in whom a coronavirus test has been confirmed.
In Republika Srpska, 29,007 people have recovered from the new coronavirus so far, and a total of 191,641 people have been tested. The total number of hospitalized in Republika Srpska is 501, at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska 184, and in general hospitals 317.
In Brčko District, four new cases and one death were confirmed.
