In BIH 2.269 new cases of coronavirus infection

(Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2,269 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the last 24 hours from 6,078 tested samples. In the same period, 19 people died who had confirmed infections.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 4,982 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 1,715 are positive for coronavirus.

New cases were registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH.

A total of 1,083,439 samples have been tested so far, and coronavirus has been confirmed in 197,494 people.

In the past 24 hours, six deaths were reported in the Federation of BiH, while nine deaths were reported retroactively.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 7,614.

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in the Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 763 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, and the General Hospital Sveti Vračevi in Bijeljina, and coronavirus was confirmed in 393 people.

In the last 24 hours, 11 deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska.

So far, 96,533 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 5,593 people who tested positive for this virus have died.

A total of 381,033 people have been tested in Republika Srpska.

The total number of hospitalized is 443, and 40 people are on ventilators, of which 28 are at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, and 12 in other hospitals.

Today, 161 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Brčko District of BiH from 333 tested samples. Two people died.
