In BiH 116 new coronavirus infections

(Patria) - In the past 24 hours, the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH reported 1,022 samples, of which 88 are positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all cantons/districts in the Federation of BiH, except for Bosansko-podrinjski, Zapadnohercegovački and Canton 10.

A total of 425,489 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 81,268 people. 

As of today, 73,403 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH. In the past 24 hours, 711 patients have recovered. Currently, there are 5,282 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.

In the past 24 hours, 14 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH.

As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 2,583.

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 346 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska and the General Hospital Sv. Vračevi in Bijeljina, and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has been confirmed in 27 people.

These are 13 males and 14 females, of whom two are younger, 10 middle-aged, and 15 elderly.

According to place of residence, 11 people are from Banja Luka, three each from Bratunac, Laktaši and Srebrenica, two from Mrkonjić Grad and one each from Zvornik, Milići, Čelinac, Šekovići and Šipovo. In the last 24 hours, four deaths have been reported to the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska in which the presence of coronavirus has been confirmed. So far, 41,616 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 2,161 people have died who have tested positive for coronavirus.

Today, one new case of coronavirus infection has been registered in Brčko District of BiH.
