(Patria) - In Banja Luka, the promotion of the book "Ferhadija - Queen of Bosnian Mosques" by author Edhem-ef. Čamdžić, Mufti of Banja Luka from 1999 to 2014, will be held today.
The promotion, as part of the program to mark the Day of Mosques in the area of the Islamic Community Council Banja Luka, will be held on the plateau in front of the Ferhat Pasha Mosque (Ferhadija) starting at 1:30 PM.
The book offers a rich depiction of the historical, spiritual, and architectural significance of Ferhadija, one of the most important mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a symbol of resilience, renewal, and identity for Muslims in Banja Luka and beyond.
In addition to the author, Dr. Ermin-ef. Vučkić, Chief Imam of the Islamic Community Council Ključ, and Nedim Hrbat, Executive Director of the Media Center program, will speak at the promotion, while the program will be moderated by Mr. Admir-ef. Blitović.
The Mufti of Banja Luka, Ismail-ef. Smajlović, will also address the attendees, giving the promotion an additional spiritual and symbolic dimension.
