In Banja Luka, the Arnaudija Mosque was desecrated

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - Entity Vice-President Ramiz Salkić stated that the writing of offensive graffiti on the walls of the Banja Luka Arnaudija Mosque, which is under reconstruction, represents a continuation of the continuous pressure on Bosniak Muslims in the area of that BiH entity.

He called on the competent authorities to finally start arresting and prosecuting perpetrators of such misdeeds and to inform the public about the results. 

"We Bosniak Muslims are in our homes in this entity and we are here to live in peace together with our Orthodox and Catholic neighbors. We expect this to be understood correctly, and not for our mosques to be painted with offensive graffiti, for our adhan to be called by derogatory names, and for our imams and our people to be threatened and attacked," said Salkić.
An unknown person has written four letters "S" and drawn a swastika on the religious building under construction, the Arnaudija Mosque in Banja Luka.

The police are investigating the vandalism.

Columnist and writer from Banja Luka, Dragan Bursać, wrote on Twitter that the Arnaudija Mosque in Banja Luka, which was destroyed in the war, was desecrated. "The executioners, it seems, are signing their work with their favorite symbols," said Bursać.
