Turković in London: We expect a strong response from the international community

(Patria) - Foreign ministers of the Western Balkan countries gathered in London for a meeting with Liz Truss, the UK Foreign Secretary, and Special Envoy Sir Stuart Peach.

Gabriel Escobar, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State of the USA, and Miroslav Lajčak, Special Envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue, also attended the meeting at Lancaster House.

"I had a series of bilateral meetings focusing on the situation in BiH and the region. Without a stable and peaceful BiH, there is no stable and peaceful region," said Turković.

During the meeting with Miroslav Lajčak, Turković expressed concern about the blockade of the European path and the endangerment of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

"The European future of BiH has no alternative. We expect a strong response from the international community," she stated.

Turković also spoke with Minister Truss, who remains firm in her support for the progress of our country.

"We discussed the latest developments in BiH and the region. Special Envoy Sir Stuart Peach will arrive in Sarajevo very soon," said Turković.
