(Patria) - The City of Sarajevo and technical organizers are finalizing the last preparations for the public New Year's Eve celebration 2025.
It is planned that on December 30, all entrances will be open from 7:30 PM, and on December 31 from 7:15 PM.
Minor deviations from the planned schedules are possible for objective reasons.
The organizer has secured entrances at the Eternal Flame site, Maršala Tita Street to Radićeva Street from five directions, namely: into M. Tita Street for guests and the public from the direction of TC "Aria" (intersection of M. Tita - Radićeva streets), from the direction of Pruščakova, Šenoina, Kulovića and Dalmatinska streets.
On both days, KDZ checks are planned to last from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. During this time, Titova Street will be completely closed to vehicles and pedestrians from the Eternal Flame to the junction with Radićeva.
Citizens are asked to use alternative routes, which will be indicated by officials.
For the first time, the organizer has secured a space for people with disabilities who are coming to the aforementioned event from the direction of Mula Mustafe Bašeskije Street - Maršala Tita.
On December 30, four emergency medical teams will be available to citizens, and on the second night, December 31, five teams.
A sufficient number of mobile toilets for visitors have been secured and will be appropriately marked.
In addition, free public city transport is provided before and after the New Year's Eve celebration (December 30 and 31), so citizens are asked to use these facilities to reduce traffic congestion in the city.
Bringing alcoholic beverages, pyrotechnic devices, glass bottles and cans, as well as all other items prohibited at public gatherings, is not allowed at the event location.
The organizer is not responsible for items that are not allowed to be brought in.
The use of drones without the consent of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton is strictly prohibited.
