Sarajevo police find robbers, stolen goods and weapons discovered

(Patria) - Police officers on Monday searched an apartment and a garage in a residential building on Travnička Street in Sarajevo, where stolen items, various goods, as well as unlicensed weapons were found.

E.K., born in 1984, and A.V., born in 1991, both from Sarajevo, were arrested.

They were arrested by officers of the Property Crimes Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton Police Administration on suspicion of robbing the "Nestro-petrol" gas station and the "Sport vision" store. New clothing items were found during the search, for which they could not prove they had legally purchased them.

While working to shed light on the mentioned criminal offenses, police officers learned that E.K., A.V., and H.Z., all from Sarajevo, could be linked to their commission.

Continuing their work, based on a search warrant from the Municipal Court in Sarajevo and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, they searched the premises and vehicles used by the suspects.

During the search of the apartment, a CZ 7.65 mm pistol with a magazine and seven rounds of the same caliber, a large quantity of cigarettes of various brands, a large quantity of electronic cigarettes, and other items and tools that could be linked to the commission of the aforementioned criminal offenses were found and confiscated.

E.K. and A.V. were handed over to the detention facilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, while an operational search has been issued for H.Z. Police officers, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, continue to work on documenting the criminal activities of the mentioned individuals.
