(Patria) - Deputies of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska are today discussing at a Special Session of the National Assembly the final report of the Independent International Commission for the Investigation of the Suffering of All Peoples in the Srebrenica region between 1992 and 1995. This report denies the genocide in Srebrenica in 1995.
National Deputy Ramiz Salkić (SDA) addressed the National Assembly of RS, calling on them to accept the verdicts handed down for the genocide in Srebrenica.
„You do not want to accept the individual responsibility of these criminals. You want to keep the people in fear to continue to pursue your policy and unfulfilled war aims. That is the essence of the problem. Do not expect us to accept untruths and lies and to accept them as truth. The truth is what has been decided,“ said Salkić.
He said that he and his family had felt all the evil and had the right to speak about everything that had happened.
The President of the NSRs, Nenad Stevandić, interrupted him twice, warning him not to insult, and Salkić told him that he had the right to speak and asked Stevandić if he was threatening him with something.
Three deputies of SDP BiH in the NSRs, Mirsad Duratović, a former camp inmate, Saša Grbić, and Andrea Gajić, did not attend today's session.
