Opposition, attacks on the state require serious answers

Opposition is a term used in politics to denote individuals, groups, and organizations that are opposed for political or ideological reasons to individuals, groups, and organizations that represent the government in a country.

In authoritarian and totalitarian political systems, the opposition operates mainly in secret.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a democratic society, so the opposition should move more strongly and effectively to fight against the disintegration of the state, which has not been stronger since the war.

Simply put, the opposition within the state has the task of controlling the ruler.

In BiH, this is not one person. The goal of the opposition in our country, judging by their indifferent actions, which are reflected exclusively in "lukewarm" statements, is currently only to gain political points.

There is no slamming of fists on the table, no being a corrective force for the government, no being the bearers of "revolutionary ideas."

Now, when it comes to matters of being or not being - the preservation of BiH's sovereignty, the opposition in BiH should be louder, it should be "united" in its actions, thereby showing firmness and the intention not to allow the ruling parties to plunder and dismantle the state.

Above all, the SDP and DF, as the strongest part of the opposition, must move more decisively into the fight. Not just verbally. Dangerous internal and external attacks on the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina require more serious answers.

Some opposition MPs have warned about this, and now it is up to the party leaders to move towards forming a patriotic bloc – a pro-Bosnian bloc, or whatever they wish to call it, and to offer fierce resistance to the intentions of certain politicians in power to continue to destroy this state from within.

Just as threats to the sovereignty and preservation of the statehood of BiH come from the smaller BiH entity of Republika Srpska in the form of various referendums, so too in the Federation, through suspicious decisions, suspicious laws and regulations, suspicious purchases and sales of state property, work is being done on division.

The Bosniak bloc of parties, which forms the government and declaratively works on preserving unity and sovereignty, often transcends patriotic motives with its chosen program.

Day by day, we are increasingly witnessing that they are personal.

The opposition in our country does not have the mechanism in its hands to stop the government from realizing its dangerous and insane plans, where secessionist tendencies are expressed from the Serbian and Croatian sides, and from the Bosniak side, it's "whoever grabbed, grabbed."

Citizens did not give them their votes to read daily statements in which they "call," "condemn," "criticize." They voted for them because they see in them the strength that fights for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The opposition is indeed pro-Bosnian, and there is no doubt about that, but it must be louder, more united, and stronger.

For starters, let them start by refusing to vote for anything that the government offers and that does not move this country forward. Let them unite and send a warning to the ruling structures with "a single voice" - stop the destruction and plundering of this state.
