Opposition finalizes agreement on candidates for BiH Presidency member and RS President

(Patria) - The opposition in the RS entity is finalizing an agreement regarding the upcoming General Elections, the candidacy for the member of the BiH Presidency from the Serb people, and the President of the RS.

At today's session of the Presidency of the Movement for a Secure Serbia (PSS), a proposed agreement put forward by the Serbian Democratic Party was unanimously adopted. This agreement has also been offered to other opposition parties, while the List for Justice and Order of Nebojša Vukanović has refused further participation in the talks. The PDP is also part of the PSS.

The proposed agreement stipulates that future government structures and the process of change will be built without the participation of SNSD, a concept that is not only acceptable to all partners but also represents a red line that must not be crossed.

Regarding the names for these two positions, a final agreement has not yet been reached, but different parties will propose candidates for key positions to create balance.

Vukanović has already announced that he will be a candidate for the member of the RS Presidency.
