Operation "Derby" – searches at 15 locations

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (hereinafter: SIPA) today (14.7.2022) within the operational action "Derby", in the areas of Modriča, Šamac, Pelagićevo, Posušje, Grude and Zenica, began searches of business and residential premises and movable property at 15 locations.

The mentioned activities are being carried out due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that criminal offenses of "Organized Crime", "Tax Evasion or Fraud", "Illegal Trafficking of Excise Goods", "Illegal Storage of Goods", "Unauthorized Trade" and "Money Laundering" prescribed by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been committed.

The searches are being conducted under the orders of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Zenica-Doboj Canton and Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

Given that the searches are ongoing, the public will be informed about the final outcome later.
