Kosovo's Foreign Minister Pacolli: Dačić offered weapons for Kosovo's recognition withdrawal

PRISHTINA, (Patria) - Kosovo's Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli accused Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić of offering weapons to Burundi in exchange for the withdrawal of the decision on recognizing Kosovo's independence, reports Tanjug.

The Kosovar minister said that they "would not be surprised if new countries emerge that will withdraw recognition" but, as he stated, this will not be the case with "serious countries with a long tradition of democracy".

- We have taken all measures to prevent this from happening. I hope that this country (Burundi) will soon invite us to establish diplomatic relations - Pacolli told KTV, as reported by Unmik.

Pacolli also mentioned Mali as one of the countries to which weapons were offered in exchange for the withdrawal of the decision on recognition.
