Juniors of Sarajevo were unsuccessful, Rukh celebrated at Koševo

(Patria) - In the first round of the Youth Champions League, Sarajevo and Rukh drew 1:1, and today at Koševo in the return match the result was 1:3.

The 'Bordo' team started the match brilliantly and took the lead in the fourth minute. Nurković set up Bezdrob, who scored for 1:0.

Three minutes later, Bezdrob had another chance, but this time he didn't hit the visitors' net.

In the 13th minute, Sarajevo's juniors had a great chance. Nurković crossed, Čelik jumped brilliantly, but the ball went a few centimeters past Rukh's goal after his shot.

About ten minutes later, the visitors had an excellent chance. After a corner, Turko shot and hit the crossbar.

The visitors managed to equalize in the 24th minute when Panchenko scored against Sarajevo.

Two minutes later, Rukh could have completed the comeback. The referee pointed to the penalty spot. Kasaradi shot, but Šutković saved his attempt.

Then chances followed on both sides. The 'Bordo' team tried through Bezdrob, Čelik, Ljukovac, and Nurković.

In the 43rd minute, the frame of Sarajevo's goal was shaken again. Fedor shot from a free kick and hit the post.

At the start of the second half, there was great play with several chances for both sides, but the team from Ukraine managed to take the lead in the 65th minute. Kvasa scored routinely after a counter-attack.

Ljukovac tried a shot three minutes later, but the ball went wide. Sarajevo threatened again from a corner. Čelik shot, but Rukh's goalkeeper reacted brilliantly, and after that, Ljukovac's shot again went wide.

In the 85th minute, the visitors scored again. Pastuhka scored masterfully for 1:3 at Koševo.

In the end, Rukh's players deservedly celebrated their victory and advanced to the next round, where they will face Midtjylland. Sarajevo's juniors will now focus on the matches in the Junior Premier League of BiH, and a derby against Željezničar awaits them this weekend.
