(Patria) - Ensuring an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip remains the top priority, and Bosnia and Herzegovina supports the plan for the reconstruction of the Palestinian enclave, it was stated at the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of BiH and Palestine on Saturday in Antalya.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, met on Saturday with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, Mohamad Mustafa, on the sidelines of the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya.
It was stated at the meeting that relations between BiH and Palestine are traditionally good and friendly.
The situation in the Gaza Strip and events in Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed.
It was emphasized that ensuring an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip remains the top priority, as it is the only approach to resolving the catastrophic humanitarian crisis and initiating a comprehensive reconstruction process, with the support of international and regional partners.
Konaković also supported the Gaza reconstruction plan, led by the Arab League, emphasizing BiH's readiness to assist the Palestinian people in the process of rebuilding Gaza and building a more secure future.
