Fajon in Sarajevo: Authorities in BiH are accountable to citizens

SARAJevo, (Patria) - A meeting between representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of the Federation of BiH and Slovenian Member of the European Parliament Tanja Fajon will be held today in the building of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH.

After the meeting, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., a Thematic Session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH will be held, "Challenges and Perspectives of the Federation of BiH on the European Path". Speakers at this session will be: Member of the European Parliament Tanja Fajon, Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the FBiH Edin Mušić, Member of the BiH Parliament Nikola Lovrinović, Director of the Directorate for European Integration Edin Dilberović, Director of the Office of the Government of the FBiH for European Integration Vjekoslav Čamber, and Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo Nedžma Džananović-Miraščija. 

Fajon stated on Monday evening in Dnevnik 3 on Federal TV that she expects Bosnia and Herzegovina to do more and be more motivated when it comes to approaching the EU.

"Certain results in reforms are present, but not enough. Representatives of the authorities bear responsibility for the pace of BiH's progress on the EU path, they are accountable to the citizens for that," Fajon said, reports NAP.
