Explosion in Pristina near Parliament, no injuries

An explosive device was thrown at the building of the Kosovo Assembly late last night, but there were no injuries. Witnesses state that after the explosion, special police blocked the area around the assembly in search of the perpetrators, reports the BH news agency Patria.

According to Kosovo media, the explosion occurred near the assembly garage. The newspaper "Ekspres" claims that a "zolja" was fired at the parliament, Serbian media report. The parliament building is located on a busy street in the center of Pristina.

The explosion occurred the night before a session of the Kosovo parliament, where a debate on the law on the demarcation of the border with Montenegro was announced, which is strongly opposed by the opposition, primarily the Self-determination Movement.
