In the company "Milan Blagojević - namjenska" in Lučani this morning around nine o'clock, a fire broke out in which three people were slightly injured and one seriously injured, Tanjug was told by the Ministry of Defence of Serbia, reports the news agency Patria.
The fire occurred at a gunpowder press, and the injured were transported to the hospital in Čačak with burns, the ministry added.
The director of the Čačak hospital, Radoslav Milošević, told Tanjug that two patients from Lučani, who were caught by the fire, are currently being treated in the operating room, one is in intensive care, and one person is slightly injured. He added that the injured will be transported to the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade.
As Tanjug was informed by the Department for Emergency Situations of the Morava District, Namjenska in Lučani has its own fire protection service, which has localized the fire.
An on-site investigation is being conducted by the Deputy Public Prosecutor in Čačak, Jasmina Lozović, with the presence of police officers who are determining the circumstances of the fire's outbreak.
