Drama in Bosanska Gradiška: Eviction prevented by threatening with gas cylinder, kindergartens also evacuated

(Patria) - Police in Bosanska Gradiška assisted today during the eviction of Z. K. in Milan Tepić Street in this city.

“After the assistance began, with the consent of the presiding judge of the Basic Court in Gradiška, a decision was made to postpone it indefinitely. The Police Administration of Bosanska Gradiška appeals to citizens not to spread panic and misinformation,” the Police Administration announced.

Behind the brief police statement, however, lay a real drama that unfolded in the city today.

In Bosanska Gradiška, by court order, the Kasagić family was to be evicted from their house and the popular cafe bar “Akademik”. However, as ATV reported from the scene, everything was postponed after Zoran Kasagić came out onto the balcony, holding a gas cylinder, threatening to blow everything up.

Around the house, as they reported, a large number of court police officers, firefighters, as well as members of the PU Bosanska Gradiška and the Gendarmerie gathered, who closed off Major Milan Tepić Street for safety reasons.

Court bailiffs had even entered the cafe “Akademik”. At that moment, Kasagić appeared on the house balcony with the gas cylinder. Although he did not openly threaten, the situation was very tense and the eviction was postponed for security reasons.

The seriousness of the situation is evidenced by the fact that nearby kindergartens called all parents to pick up their children, after which they suspended operations.

According to unofficial information, the eviction was ordered by the court in order to collect the claims that the bank has against Kasagić, ATV reports.
