Dodik in Mostar with Čović: It would be better for Croats to dust off those plans for 'Herceg-Bosnia'

(Patria) - The leaders of SNSD and HDZ, Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović, met today in Mostar without prior announcement.

Dodik addressed the media after the meeting, stating that these were regular consultations with Čović and the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Borjana Krišto, regarding work in state institutions.

Dodik stated that "nothing outside the Constitution of BiH" is acceptable for adoption by the Council of Ministers of BiH.

"There is no talk of adopting the law on the Court of BiH and the HJPC," Dodik told reporters after the meeting with Čović.

He emphasized that it was agreed to support the budget of institutions at the BiH level, adding that Republika Srpska will act in accordance with the laws adopted by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.

He also stated that after the procedure in the Council of Peoples, he will sign the laws adopted by the NSRS, and they will come into effect.

"I will sign the laws and they will be valid. This means that at 7:00 AM when the laws come into force, no SIPA premises in Republika Srpska will be able to operate.

No branch of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH will be able to operate, nor their officials, nor will their decisions be applied.

If anyone thinks they can, let them try. We see ourselves as a state, a state-building element in BiH with competencies that have been taken away from us," said Dodik.

He reiterated his earlier claims that "BiH has no right to a fiscal system, army, SIPA, Prosecutor's Office..."

"The fact that someone voted at the proposal of the High Representative is unconstitutional. We allowed it, and they thought we were naive," said Dodik.

He also added that he will "kick out" the High Representative from Republika Srpska.

"You will see how we will escort him out and nicely kick him out of Republika Srpska, but really nicely. He is a type who has done evil and led Bosniaks to believe in the superiority of the international community.

Čović also commented on the meeting with Dodik on the X platform, stating that they discussed the current political situation, the functioning of institutions, and reform laws.
