Details of the accident in Grbavica: Hit a pedestrian, then a pole

(Patria) - The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton published details of the horrific accident that happened yesterday in the Sarajevo settlement of Grbavica, where a car first hit a pedestrian and then crashed into a pole.

They state that everything happened yesterday around 8:25 AM on the sidewalk of Grbavička Street.

- At that time, a Kia Sportage passenger car, driven by A.Dž., born in 1979, residing in Sarajevo, hit and knocked down a pedestrian, M.Č., born in 1962, residing in Sarajevo, on the sidewalk, after which the vehicle hit a residential building and came to a stop.

The 63-year-old sustained severe bodily injuries in this traffic accident, and medical assistance was provided to her at the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS). The pedestrian was admitted to the Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology for further treatment. The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed, and the investigation was carried out by members of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton and authorized court experts in traffic and mechanical engineering - emphasized the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
