SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The National Coordination Body for Infectious Diseases of Montenegro, with the consent of the Personal Data Protection Agency, has started publishing the names of persons who have been issued orders for mandatory self-isolation. The list also includes persons of security interest. As Dan learns, these are 12 individuals previously known to the police, who are mainly involved in illegal activities within Montenegro.
Thus, members of criminal clans from Bar, Herceg Novi, and Podgorica were also on the list of the National Coordination Body for Infectious Diseases.
According to unofficial information from Dan, some of them have not been in their municipality, and therefore not in the country, for months, which is why they are now undergoing the prescribed procedure, reports CDM.
Otherwise, since the coronavirus appeared in Montenegro, the authorities have not recorded the commission of serious criminal offenses where members of criminal clans appear as perpetrators.
The Director of the Police Administration, Veselin Veljović, recently told Dan that the Montenegrin police are monitoring the security situation even in the new circumstances and continue to act proactively towards persons of security interest and members of organized criminal groups to suppress criminal activities.
In recent days, police officers have been regularly carrying out intensified checks on persons of security interest. Through these actions, weapons, drugs, explosives, money, and other items were seized. A certain number of individuals were also apprehended.
