Montenegro: Constitutive session of the new parliamentary convocation today

(Patria) - The constitutive session of the new convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro, at which the Speaker of Parliament is to be elected, will be held today

The agenda of the session provides for determining the number of vice-presidents and electing the vice-presidents of the parliament.

The deputies are expected to elect the president and members of the Administrative Committee of the Montenegrin Parliament.

The session of the new convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro was convened by the Speaker of Parliament Ivan Brajović, and will be chaired by the oldest deputy Miodrag Lekić, who will be assisted by the youngest deputy Maksim Vučinić.

At the session, the report of the State Election Commission on the results of the parliamentary elections in Montenegro, held on August 30, will be presented.

According to the official election results, the coalition "Decisively for Montenegro – DPS Milo Đukanović" won 30 seats, the coalition "For the Future of Montenegro" 27, the coalition "Peace is Our Nation" 10, and the platform "Black on White" four.

The Bosniak Party and Social Democrats will each have three deputies, and the Social Democratic Party two.

The Albanian list "Nik Đeljošaj – Genci Nimanbegu" and the coalition "Unanimously" will each have one representative in the Montenegrin parliament.

540,026 citizens had the right to vote in the elections, and 413,894 voted.
