Čolpa: In Montenegro, an attempt is being made to establish a theocratic state on European soil

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - If the president of URA, Driton Abazović, agrees to form a government with the Democratic Front, it will mean that a new political system is being established in Montenegro, one that does not currently exist in Europe, namely a theocratic state led by Amfilohije Rodović, according to a statement by Member of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, Nihad Čolpa, on the occasion of the elections in Montenegro.

"Zdravko Krivokapić and Aleksa Bečić are merely a tool by which the Serbian Orthodox Church is trying to seize power in Montenegro, and it is wrong to say that this duo is an important political factor in the political processes in Montenegro. The entire course of the campaign, the messages from press conferences, as well as the visit to the church on election night by the leadership of the Democratic Front, have unequivocally shown that the real leader of the so-called opposition in Montenegro is Amfilohije Radović.
Therefore, if URA, led by Driton Abazović, forms a government with the Democratic Front, power in Montenegro will be handed over, primarily to the Serbian Orthodox Church, which will control general policies," Čolpa stated.

He adds that the "behavior and silence of Western diplomats regarding the campaign that took place in Montenegro was terrifyingly bad, and then hypocritical."

"I wonder if we should consider that in the 21st century we are starting a new era of transition of the political system, where we are moving from a democratic society towards theocracy. With the establishment of a theocratic government, there is no doubt that the statehood of Montenegro will be called into question, such a phenomenon will further shake the already unstable region, while Bosnia and Herzegovina will face new challenges that can only be answered by politicians willing to tackle them," Čolpa stated for the media.
