Čampara in Pressing: I filed a report against Osman Mehmedagić

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - I have submitted an irrevocable resignation - there is nothing for anyone to accept. I submitted it formally, legally, to the Main Board, because it elected me. I stated my reasons clearly and transparently. I also submitted it to the SDA headquarters - and then I informed the citizens, said Aljoša Čampara in the show Pressing on N1.

"Regarding expulsion from the party, Prevljak said he would expel me if I did something. The point is that the man is prone to expulsions. That is not the way. I will act in the interest of the citizens and in the interest of what I wrote in my resignation," stated Čampara in his first TV appearance after submitting his resignation from all functions in the SDA party.

He accused the party of abandoning its congress goals, hiring staff based on sycophancy, and condoning corrupt behavior by its members.

"I have been warning for a long time about the proclaimed goals from the Congress, which are well written, but not implemented on the ground," he said, adding that the party promised to strive for a civic approach, to attract non-Bosniaks, and to adhere to principles that aim towards the EU.

He said that after the Congress, the SDA first dismissed Duška Jurišić, director of TV Sarajevo.

"What do you think Alija Izetbegović would have done by removing people like that. We should have sent a message that we have a war reporter, a distinguished citizen, to send a message to the enemies of BiH that multicultural life is possible here," said Čampara.

He emphasized that the Cantonal Board of SDA appoints people for whom company statutes are changed, adapted to certain individuals who do not even meet the educational requirements.

"Instead of bringing in experts - and there are so many of them, we are recycling the same old staff," said Čampara.

He claims that all of the above "reflects on Bakir Izetbegović".

"He is surrounded by people who misinform him. We have no policy, vision, measures, goals, advice, experts. If we are to engage in nepotism - I warned about everything," Čampara conveyed.

He said that he will not give up the positions entrusted to him by the people, and that he only receives a salary from the FBiH Government, having renounced all per diems.

When asked if he is leaving SDA, founding a party, or joining someone else, he said:

"I haven't thought about it. It's too early yet," he said.

Čampara said that many people from the top of SDA supported him after his resignation, but he said that many might be waiting to see how things unfold after the events.

To the statement that accusations have been made against him regarding the Mehmedagić case. The portal istraga.ba claims that your advisor reported the director of OSA? Are you the author of anonymous reports?

Of course not. There are anonymous reports against me, but I never asked for surveillance camera recordings. That is illegal. You will see how easy it will be to prove in court that she (advisor Mirela Bubalo) was not there.
