SARAJevo, (Patria) - 703,995.64 convertible marks in judicial enforcement were paid from the budget of the West Herzegovina Canton today. This is the second payment of this kind in less than half a year, bringing the total paid into the accounts of budget users in the aforementioned period to 1,236,198.76 convertible marks.
The largest portion of the disbursed funds was paid into the accounts of educational workers, while the remainder relates to employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the West Herzegovina Canton.
These obligations relate to lawsuits filed by budget users from previous years. By intensifying payments, the Government of the West Herzegovina Canton has once again confirmed its position that the settlement of judicial enforcement is among its high priorities, a point often emphasized by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the West Herzegovina Canton, Toni Kraljević.
What no one is talking about is the government's responsibility for creating unnecessary costs by not respecting the laws.
In the last three and a half years, two of which were marked by the coronavirus pandemic, the West Herzegovina Canton has managed to settle as much as 5,049,169.29 convertible marks in obligations arising from court judgments.
