Budget users in KS will receive coupons instead of money

The Government of Sarajevo Canton today adopted a Conclusion obliging the Ministry of Transport to establish full control and supervision over the printing of tickets for public passenger transport from May 1st of this year, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- With the same act, it suggested to all entities founded by Sarajevo Canton, meaning all budget users, public institutions, public enterprises, and all other entities financed fully or partially from the Budget of Sarajevo Canton, that the right to compensation for commuting to and from work be realized exclusively by purchasing a monthly ticket from the public transport provider.

The KS Government also recommended to all state and federal bodies and institutions headquartered in the Canton, City, and all municipalities, as well as other companies and institutions that cooperate, do business, or realize certain rights from Sarajevo Canton in any way, to purchase public transport tickets from the public transport provider. It was requested that all public institutions, enterprises, and funds submit a report within 15 days on how they have resolved the issue of employee transport.

The KS Government adopted a series of measures aimed at stabilizing KJKP GRAS, according to which, among other things, it obliged the management of this company, in cooperation with the Trade Union, to adopt a new job systematization and work regulations approved by the Assembly and the Supervisory Board, and to submit them to the Ministry of Transport and the Government of Sarajevo Canton.

At the same time, the Ministry of Transport and KJKP GRAS will conduct an urgent negotiated procedure for the procurement of spare parts for vehicles according to the specifications provided by KJKP GRAS, in the amount of up to KM 300,000.00, no later than April 20, 2015. GRAS was also tasked with preparing a precise and detailed specification of the necessary spare parts with their codes for the repair of vehicles currently out of order as soon as possible.

KJKP GRAS was obliged to introduce entry control at bus and minibus departure stops.
