Is it the time to vaccinate Dragan Covic?

Bosnia and Herzegovina doesn't need COVID-19 for its citizens to live in fear and panic. This country has had its own viruses of several decades, which attack its population.

There are several types of viruses which are equally efficient in destroying sociopolitical essence of BiH.

One of the viruses is Milorad Dodik, a loudmouth from the cover of the magazine, a tough guy and a dictator. Specialized for threats, referendums and secessionism. However, a vaccine for this type of political virus has been invented in the United States. It's called the 'black list'.

The vaccine has softened the effect of Dodik. He does return to attack again every once in a while, however, as soon as the epidemiologists from the US and Quinta Group react – he withdraws. Over and over again.

Covic – the most dangerous virus

The second virus responds to the name Bakir Izetbegovic. It affects an ethnic group on a certain territory – the Bosniaks in Sarajevo Canton. It rarely spreads to other areas. One thing that makes him dangerous is his tendency to merge with the other two viruses. It can cause a good deal of damage when in (such) a group.

The third and by far the most dangerous to Bosnia and Herzegovina is Dragan Covic with code name 'Soko'. Large numbers of JCE cells are the main form of this virus, and when merged with other viruses – it becomes epidemic and highly harmful to everything and everybody in BiH.

Dragan Covic controls the legislative, executive and judicial power. The legislative and judicial are the most important. At the state level, Covic has a key role in both houses of BiH parliament. No decision whatsoever can pass without his blessing. It is similar in the federal parliament, while the most brutal control of power is established in the cantons where the Croats are majority.

He used to have the control in the Presidency BiH as well, but he lost along the way for becoming a scarecrow for all non-Croats living in the Federation.

To compensate him for his loss, the viruses Dodik and Izetbegovic with their partners, gave him the position of the first Prosecutor – the move which gave Covic control over justice and legislation.  

The virus Covic also works havoc in the economy. He is also very successful in that department. He has managed to destroy everything on Herzegovina soil which had any potential. He created loyal tycoons on the wreckage of the past economic giants. The last one being Aluminij, pieces and parts of which he's offered to a Chinese-Israeli consortium, while sending tough guys to deal with those who dare to think differently. Dragan Covic has this wish to establish the third entity as his last farewell act, more precisely, to revive the criminal parastate 'Herzeg-Bosnia'. That's why he needs a custom-made Election law which would present the first step to fulfilling the aim of establishing the Croat entity in BiH. That's pretty much all he talks about with Izetbegovic. It's been the quintessence of his politics over the past eight years.   

Like Dodik, he has become a Russophile. Perhaps he's now even a greater one than Dodik given that he is the one to go there to talk business. And the kind of deals that Covic and Dodik cut in Russia are surely not beneficial for BiH, and for the American interests in the Balkans.

Other than advocating for a stronger Russian influence in BiH, Covic is also making sure via his person Zoran Galic, that as many as possible migrants enter Bosnia and Herzegovina. Thus he creates a heavy burden for the country, while making statements that he and the Croats are the only advocates of the EU accession for BiH.  

With all that said, and that still falls short of his opus, a question arises why the same innovators of the vaccine for Dodik couldn't do the same for Covic. Particularly because the third one – Izetbegovic – has been excluded from the western gatherings and events.  

Is Covic protected from such actions?

The politics of Milorad Dodik is not more harmful than Covic's. However, Covic has been so far spared, for some reason. The rumor has it that Covic is favored by certain forces in the international community. The rumor also has it that the same international community saved him from prison.  

However, geopolitical situation today is different and the aspirations of the Eastern forces towards BiH keep growing. When I say Eastern, I mean Russia, China, as well as other Eastern countries.

The United States hence do not have much time for stopping to impose sanctions on Dragan Covic. Because the moment Russian politics backed by China and Turkey takes over the lead in the Balkans, all the world vaccines will become inefficient. And the US will lose a lot.
