Vučić desperate: Russians giving us gas only until New Year

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić told Informer that bad news about gas arrived from Moscow.

- News arrives from Moscow that they have offered us a gas contract until New Year. I said that this is disappointing news for us, because we expected it to be extended until May and because we have always been more than fair and reliable partners in every sense. Why until New Year?

Because they want to tell us that if we nationalize NIS or do anything else, they can cut off our gas on December 31. That is a bad message for me in every sense. The Americans told me to sign, that they would not impose any sanctions, only that we carry out nationalization.

We are not a communist country and that is the last thing we can do. I could not give my word for that - Vučić recounted.
