PROSECUTOR IVAN MATEŠIĆ REPORTED TO THE DISCIPLINARY OFFICE The witness Tarahija claims he swore at God, a key witness signed a statement with serious accusations!

The head of the War Crimes Department of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivan Matešić, has been reported to the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office, the news agency Patria has learned.

This is not surprising given all that the media has written about Matešić and his conduct in and out of the courtroom.

"First, it's the psychological effect, you arrive there at 10:30 AM, and they question you at 3:30 PM. You neither eat nor drink. Two armed men escort you through that corridor, and the door says 'interrogation for war crimes Križančevo selo', which creates psychological pressure," one of the witnesses in the Križančevo selo case, Muamer Tarahija, told Patria.

He added: "When he didn't know what else to do, prosecutor Ivan Matešić got angry and started throwing his laptop, swearing at God, after which we argued. When he saw he couldn't do anything to me, he started offering me cigarettes, food... The next time I went to give a statement, I told the police officers that I wouldn't say anything if Matešić was there. There was a shorter man, an investigator, I think his name is Arnel Šahorić, he wasn't rude, but when he couldn't get anything, he started offering me money. 'Do you need money, how much?' he asked me, and I told him I didn't need money and that I was doing a good job, where I was well paid," Tarahija told Patria.

According to him, there were also people who fainted, and the prosecutor who also worked on the Križančevo selo case witnessed the investigator offering money.

"I told all of that in court at the BiH Court, about Ivan's banging, throwing the laptop, and offering money. Then Ivan started questioning me and saying that I didn't say that, but I asked him to give me the statement I signed, because I was the only one who didn't sign the statement. Also, the initial summons used to come by mail, and the third or fourth time, armed men delivered the summons, which upset my family as well," Tarahija points out, recalling that he asked them why armed men were delivering the summons, when he always responded to them regularly.

When asked why Matešić was throwing laptops during his interrogation, Tarahija said that he was trying to intimidate him, and that in the end, he told him that he was a "tough nut to crack".

"That Arnel Šahorić, when he had nothing more to ask me, asked me 'what do women talk about among you', to which I laughed, and he replied 'do you need money'," Tarahija told Patria.

We have already written about the methods by which prosecutor Matešić "arrives at the truth". The latest information we have obtained indicates that one of Matešić's key witnesses in the Križančevo selo case has signed a statement as a public document related to another case of a similar nature, in which he directly accuses prosecutor Matešić of promising to repay his loan and of pressuring him to give false statements. The aforementioned witness, according to our sources, claims to have testified falsely in two cases against defendants for war crimes.

The same sources reveal that a relative of that witness also gave a statement that compromises prosecutor Matešić, claiming that he persuaded the witness, and to some extent bribed him, in exchange for a story that fit the indictment.

Due to all of the above and what we have written previously, the regularity of the proceedings is questioned, and the answer suggests that the goal is actually to convict the suspects in the Križančevo selo case, regardless of the legal norms that prosecutors are obliged to follow. To be direct, the question arises whether this case is actually politically motivated and forced.

If it is true that the actions of prosecutor Ivan Matešić have been reported to the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office, we hope that this institution will do its job correctly this time. Because, we remind you, Matešić was already before the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office where he was prosecuted for photos with former Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, today a synonym for corruption scandals in Croatia.

The photo was taken in 2018 in Russia, during the Football World Cup. Sanader has been convicted and acquitted, and has been in courtrooms for years. And his protégé, as the Zagreb media once wrote, is the former President of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar Kitarović.

In one article in the Washington Post, she wrote about Sanader: "Croatia is a stable democracy and market economy with stable institutions and on the path to membership in NATO and the European Union. Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader is a widely recognized and respected reformer who has shown determination and decisiveness in achieving national goals of EU and NATO membership, fully aware of the scope of reforms required. In the past few years, Croatia has become an example of a country successfully implementing reforms. The President, Prime Minister, and opposition have given full support to a new set of measures being prepared by the government to effectively combat organized crime and corruption, which includes prioritizing court cases related to organized crime and corruption.".

And just half a year after Kolinda Grabar Kitarović's visit to Vitez and Križančevo selo, an investigation against members of the Army of RBiH began. Residents of Vitez have told us on several occasions that this visit is largely connected to the prosecution of members of the Army of RBiH, even mentioning half a million KM given for this case to be brought before the Court of BiH. It should not be forgotten that ex-state prosecutor Gordana Tadić (now on the blacklist) assigned the case to Matešić outside of the CMS, thus violating judicial work rules.

It is up to the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office to determine how much connection there is in all of this. But, manipulations and illegal actions in the investigation of the Križančevo selo case are increasingly coming to light. And where there's smoke, there's fire, or money, if anyone needs it, as Matešić's investigator said!
