The "Trojka" and the Politics of Compromise: In the End, It's All in Dodik and Čović's Hands!

The fate of Bosnia and Herzegovina, specifically its path to the European Union, is in the hands of Milorad Dodik, as well as Dragan Čović. The "Trojka" and its politics of compromise have not yielded results. This is how the results of the imposed government can be summarized in two sentences.
Because, the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, reiterated his statement that all partners in the government at the BiH level are for some movement, but that it will not be possible until two issues are resolved – the Constitutional Court of BiH and the Election Law!

Therefore, the "Trojka," which includes the SDP, NIP, and Naša stranka, is in check. To be checkmated, they will have to continue to compromise, in which they have so far given everything that SNSD and HDZ desired, and in return, they received crumbs, which supposedly speed us up on the path to the EU.

That is far from the truth, because, sum total, not much has moved from the beginning, as the Law on the HJPC is not European and it will have to be changed in the coming year!
It seems that the "Trojka," while digging a pit for the SDA, fell into it themselves!

But, they could not expect anything different, especially after they continued the politics of compromise and after Dodik cursed the genocide and daily brings people to the streets with the message 'there is a border'.

In faint hopes that Nermin Nikšić (judging by his latest media appearances) has definitively become aware of the danger in which Bosnia and Herzegovina finds itself, his persistent statements are surprising: ‘the alternative to talks and compromises is the blockade of everything in the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, maintaining the status quo, and I believe that such a situation would only benefit those who do not love this country, who want to show that Bosnia and Herzegovina as a state is not possible’.

Either he does not want to admit or does not see that both depend on Čović and Dodik. And, they should have learned by now that talks with separatist forces in BiH end in a way that dialogue always ends in a blockade. And now the conclusion is reached that the claims of the "Trojka" that everything in the past was up to the SDA are completely wrong, and it seems that the international mentors of the "Trojka" have also realized this, so it is no wonder that the US Ambassador Michael Murphy at the PIC loudly warned 'what 14 priorities are you talking about, and everything is falling apart'.

The "Trojka" has not yet tried the opposite, to threaten blockades themselves, because offensive politics in such difficult circumstances as we are witnessing is more fruitful than the defense in which, from the very beginning of the establishment of power in BiH, they have been satisfying the HDZ and SNSD without any hesitation.
And so, it is clear that the HDZ and SNSD chose the partners in this government, and that is the "Trojka," which, regardless of everything, continues to seek justifications for the partners' insane policies.

“Not a single law will pass at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina until the law on the Constitutional Court of BiH is put on the agenda,” Dodik will state decisively.

And he should be believed completely, his decisiveness should not be questioned, but rather worked against.

However, Nikšić and the "Trojka," if they want to preserve BiH, will have to find alternatives to compromise and talks, because Dodik is already leading, and in sports terms, when you are losing, and the end of the game is near, you throw all your cards into attack, take defenders out of the game, and attackers create the play.
