(Patria) - Students in blockade and citizens supporting them have continued to block the buildings of Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) in Takovska Street and on Košutnjak, RTS reported on its website this morning.
Parts of Takovska Street, Ilije Garašanina Street and Majora Ilića Street are closed to traffic.
Students and citizens are blocking the entrances to RTS buildings in Takovska and Aberdareva streets this morning, as well as the studios on Košutnjak, RTS stated, adding that employees are prevented from reaching their workplaces.
Due to the difficult working conditions caused by the blockade, RTS has been forced to adjust its program schedule, a criminal complaint has been filed with the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade against unknown persons, and a response from international institutions has been requested.
Students have been blocking the public service buildings since April 14 at 10:00 p.m., and they stated that the blockade will continue until a new call for members of the Council of the Regulatory Body for Electronic Media is announced.
