SPS: Serbian citizen expelled from BiH, threat to national security

(Patria) - Implementing enhanced operational measures for controlling the movement and stay of foreigners in BiH, members of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs, on September 9, 2024, in cooperation with the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH, found in the Sarajevo area a citizen of the Republic of Serbia, M.N. (born in 1984), who was declared a threat to the national security of BiH and issued an expulsion measure with a ban on entry and stay in BiH for a period of 5 years.

This person is linked to "radical followers of Salafism" in BiH, and in order to ensure the execution of the expulsion measure and restriction of movement due to the threat to the national security of BiH, she has been placed under supervision in the Immigration Center and will be removed from BiH as soon as possible.

The Service for Foreigners' Affairs will continue to carry out enhanced activities within its competence regarding the control of movement and stay of foreigners in BiH in the coming period, and through its actions, it will fully contribute to the protection of BiH's security.
