SKY CASES: 16 indictments against 80 people filed in four years, including police officers and lawyers

(Patria) - In the period from 2021 to mid-2025, a team of prosecutors in charge of the Sky case, in cooperation with police and security agencies across Bosnia and Herzegovina, conducted 32 operations that resulted in the arrest or detention of more than 174 suspects.

In the same period, 16 indictments were filed and confirmed against 80 individuals. Seventeen defendants pleaded guilty by agreement. The total duration of the imposed prison sentences is 29 years and 10 months, with sentences ranging from one to five years in prison.

Out of a total of 30 employees in police and law enforcement agencies covered by the investigation, nine defendants are: police officers, a lawyer, and a former advisor in the Ministry of Security of BiH.

Among the suspects are active police officers, including high-ranking officials from various law enforcement agencies, as well as a judge, a lawyer, and a journalist.

Expensive vehicles, watches, drugs, machinery, residential properties, and money were seized in the confiscations.

90 vehicles and 37 properties worth several million were confiscated.
