Schmidt angered us, and Nikšić and others took advantage of the imposed government!

The "spengavanje" affair, which is shaking the political scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, is not an accidental incident nor a sudden crack in the system. Force only knows force!

That is why the behavior of Nermin Nikšić, Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, and high-ranking police officials is only a logical consequence of what the international community, through the decisions of Christian Schmidt, has produced by illegitimately and deeply undemocratically imposing the government of the so-called Troika (SDP, Our Party, NIP).

It is difficult to understand how citizens so easily overlooked the events of 2022 when their will was disregarded, and thus, political officeholders clearly realized that they can easily fool this nation. That is why today, through well-established communication channels, the participants in the affair are diverting from the point. They are not concerned with the content of the published messages, but with irrelevant issues, such as who sent the messages and how they ended up in the public.

When the then High Representative decided to erase the electoral will of the citizens and impose a political construct that suited the interests of several embassies, the citizens remained silent. They did not feel the need to persevere in defending their will, convinced that "nothing can be changed." Today it is becoming clear that everything should have been nipped in the bud back then.

Because once the government was imposed by decree, not by election, every subsequent affair, including this one about "spengavanje," is merely a symptom of the rotten foundation on which that government was built.

Schmidt's decision on "stability" has actually produced complete instability. The political scene of Bosnia and Herzegovina today is trapped between obedience and humiliation, and citizens between apathy and cynicism.

What is being revealed today is not just corruption within certain government structures, but also the moral bankruptcy of a system that began the moment the democratic order was replaced by an international decree. If Schmidt bears responsibility for the beginning, then those who enjoyed privileges within that order bear responsibility for its continuation.

And that is why one cannot speak of the "spengavanje affair" as an isolated case. It is merely a mirror in which the face of a system is clearly visible, a system that, instead of honest politics, chose obedience to the powerful, and instead of the will of the people, chose obedience to orders.
