Disappointment with the Mayors of the "Trojka" is the cause of great nervousness of the NiP leader!

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the president of the People and Justice party, Elmedin Konaković, reacted vehemently yesterday to the news that opposition parties in Sarajevo have decided to nominate Dennis Gratz and Muamer Bandić as candidates for mayors of the Centar and Novo Sarajevo municipalities, with the support of Semir Efendić for the mayor of the Novi Grad municipality.

Konaković, who has almost completely neglected his job as Minister of Foreign Affairs lately, reacted with extreme nervousness, stating that the alleged base of Bosniak organizations and the base of Bosniak voters will not support the opposition parties' candidates.

Most likely, Konaković's fear is justified. The leader of NIP is clearly deeply aware that the "Trojka" has disappointed its own voters, that the mayors from the "Trojka" in Sarajevo have not done anything they promised the citizens, so he is now trying to play the national card by sending various messages about Bosniak voters as if the mayors of Sarajevo municipalities are not voted for by all citizens, but only by Bosniaks.

The nervousness of the "Trojka" leader is certainly further explained by the extremely negative results of surveys by international organizations in BiH, which show that the People and Justice party is on the best path to suffer the fate of the now-forgotten Alliance for a Better Future, whose ideology and political agenda they have adopted.

Things are not much better in Our Party, whose membership is disappointed with the rule of Srđan Mandić, the mayor of Centar Municipality, who will be remembered by the employees of the Centar Municipality only for his working hours, which began in the afternoon.

However, the rating of SDP is unknown, which has also disappointed its voters by making unprincipled moves such as supporting the appointment of the incompetent Marin Vukoja as a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH. SDP has also disappointed with the demand for an increase in electricity prices and a blow to citizens' pockets, thus once again showing a departure from its social democratic tradition.

All these facts seem to be the main motive for the leader of People and Justice, who desperately tries to bring back stories about his fight against Sebija Izetbegović into the public space, in which he sees some kind of straw to grasp, so that all the catastrophic policy of the "Trojka" and the catastrophic work of Mayor Mandić, and the rest of the team that came to power with great promises in the local elections of 2020, are forgotten.

The nervousness of the NiP leader is further fueled by the skill and wisdom with which the presidents of the cantonal organizations of the opposition parties, Albin Zuhrić, Faruk Kapidžić, and Almir Bečarević, have come up with the names of the best candidates for mayors of Sarajevo municipalities who can defeat the bad mayors of the "Trojka", while the parties nominating them retain their political autonomy and the right to independent action.

All other disagreements, political and clear ideological differences are not an obstacle to offering citizens quality candidates for mayors of Sarajevo municipalities who are capable of stopping the poor management of the local community.
