The Bosnia and Herzegovina tennis team is playing a Davis Cup match against Germany in Mostar. Unfortunately, neither Nerman Fatić nor Damir Džumhur had their day and were defeated by their opponents today. Therefore, the Germans have reason to celebrate.
And with them, the High Representative Christian Schmidt is also celebrating Bosnia and Herzegovina's defeat. He clearly appeared in Mostar today in a visibly good mood and, logically, cheered for his team. And there would be nothing wrong with that if high-ranking officials of the HDZ BiH, Mr. Legitimate Dragan Čović, were not in his company.
Čović, however, was not in Schmidt's company in the stands of the Mostar Tennis Club today, but the mayor of the city on the Neretva, Mario Kordić, and the federal Minister of Transport and Communications, Andrijana Katić, were. The Minister of Justice of BiH, Davor Bunoza, was also there, who posted a selfie of his colleagues from the HDZ in the company of Schmidt on social media.
With Bosnia and Herzegovina with ministers A. Katić, @sanjavlaisavlj2, Mayor of Mostar M. Kordić and High Representative C. Schmidt!

However, it is incomprehensible and condemnable that Schmidt was accompanied today by the federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević. The same Vlaisavljević who wants to rehabilitate war criminals after they have served their prison sentences. Even though it is completely clear to her that war crimes do not become statute-barred! It is strange that Dragan Čović's obedient followers, Schmidt, and HDZ officials did not include the President of the FBiH, Lidija Bradara. Maybe she doesn't like tennis, who knows!
It is well known to all of us that Schmidt has repeatedly ignored the appeals of victim associations to dismiss both Vlaisavljević and Bradara. The least common denominator for both of these obedient followers of Dragan Čović is their admiration for the convicted war criminal Dario Kordić. Regardless of the fact that he admitted in a video that he has no regrets and would repeat everything for which he was sentenced to 25 years in prison in The Hague without any hesitation.
The former leader of the self-proclaimed Herceg-Bosna was convicted for responsibility for the horrific murders of 116 Bosniak civilians in April 1993 in the village of Ahmići near Vitez, including women and children. However, this does not bother Vlaisavljević, Bradara, Čović, Marinko Čavara, nor Borjana Krišto, who gave him a warm welcome in Busovača in mid-2014 after his release from prison.

What message does Schmidt think he is sending to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina with such scandalous moves? Not only is this not the first time he has attended sports events in the company of Čović's HDZ members, but it is also not the first time he has been accompanied by those who support and glorify war criminals.
Let us recall that in Kiseljak in mid-December 2022, he watched the World Cup match between Croatia and Morocco under a tent in the company of Čović's mayor of Kiseljak, Mladen Mišurić-Ramljak. Invariably, the admirer of war criminal Dario Kordić, Lidija Bradara, was also present.

With such (un)thoughtful appearances, Schmidt not only provokes, primarily, parties of pro-Bosniak orientation, considering everything he did on election night last October by amending the Election Law of BiH and the Constitution of FBiH, and then by imposing the Government of FBiH and suspending the Constitution of FBiH for 24 hours. Schmidt is also mocking the victims of genocide in Srebrenica in this way, whose initiative to dismiss Vlaisavljević and Bradara, as we have already said, he has remained silent on several occasions. Also, Schmidt is directly mocking the victims and families of the survivors of the heinous crime from April 1993, which was committed in Ahmići by units of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) under the direction of Bradara and Sanja Vlaisavljević's favorite, war criminal Dario Kordić.
And while his predecessor Valentin Inzko wore a Bosnia and Herzegovina scarf and showed that he was on the side of this country, Schmidt wears the "scarf" of a convicted joint criminal enterprise and leaves no doubt about which side he has chosen.
