Plenković came to Sarajevo to show he is the boss of the Trojka

(Patria) - The reason for the visit of high European officials to Bosnia and Herzegovina is to provide political and media cover for High Representative Christian Schmidt not to impose technical amendments to the Election Law of BiH, which HDZ BiH believes do not benefit them.

They fear these are the last impositions and are asking Schmidt to further improve their already dominant position, and to take an additional step beyond what he did on election night, and later when imposing the illegal Government of FBiH.

This was stated for the Novinska agencija Patria by the Vice President of the American-European Alliance, Reuf Bajrović, referring to the visit of Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Plenković's desire, Bajrović assesses, was to show that he is the boss of the Trojka, "which is not under the control of the Americans, as everyone claims, but under the control of Zagreb."

- There is no doubt, regardless of the huge mistakes the Biden administration has made in BiH, that they were in favor of imposing technical amendments to the Election Law now. And the Trojka listened to Plenković, Dodik, and Čović, and not the Embassy, which was probably against that document signed at Dodik's estate in Bakinci.

That document served as the basis for this visit and further justification for Schmidt, that he would impose it, but in reality, they are not allowing him to because a new domestic political dynamic has emerged, which could result in something good, so he is not imposing, not spoiling their dynamic. That is the whole point of this agreement at Dodik's estate and the visit of these European officials - Bajrović believes.

He emphasizes that there is absolutely nothing to Bosnia and Herzegovina's membership in the European Union, stating that it is ridiculous to even talk about it.

- Essentially, this illusion of European membership is used to destroy Bosnia and Herzegovina as much as possible. I have been saying this for years - it is a screen for the destruction of Bosnia and Herzegovina - states Bajrović.

Plenković, our interlocutor adds, undoubtedly ignored the meeting with the members of the Presidency of BiH in a previous agreement with Čović. And with that brutally undiplomatic move, he also tried to trample and humiliate the most important BiH institution - the Presidency and its Chairman Željko Komšić, as a sovereign, given that from that position he represents BiH in the Presidency, in international organizations, and towards other countries.

- Plenković's obedient followers, the Trojka, continue to do exactly what he asks of them. And surely, such a subservient Trojka and Plenković's arrogant attitude will only awaken defiance in our people. And in a political sense, it will bring them no good, because they are only poking the people in the eye.

After today, it can be freely said that the Trojka does not feel loyalty to BiH. It is loyal to Zagreb, and possibly to Belgrade. And now we know for sure that it is loyal to Zagreb. Because if they were loyal to BiH, they would not allow their most important institution to be humiliated in such a way with their assistance, and for them to laugh, the way those who expected Pavelić in 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944 laughed when he came to Sarajevo - points out Bajrović.

At the end of the conversation, he drew a parallel between the policies that Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and Croatian President Zoran Milanović are pursuing towards Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- I think it's a question of the chicken or the egg. I think one without the other would not be so dangerous, because they both have the same intentions towards Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am not so sure that Plenković is much more dangerous than Milanović.

Although they hold different positions, they completely agree on one thing, as do the opposition and the government in Serbia - that hegemonic war aims should be pursued in the region. Plenković and Milanović function together towards BiH, there is no doubt about that. And together they are dangerous - concluded Bajrović.
