KAJGANIĆ'S HELLISH PLAN: What the indictment against Milorad Dodik means and how he will use it to humiliate Bosnia and Herzegovina anew!

By: Amina Čorbo-Zećo

The indictment of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Milorad Dodik, although it may not seem so to the naive, is only a gain for the president of Republika Srpska, who even before the confirmation of the indictment, managed to rally the people in RS and bring them to the administrative line of the entity.

EUFOR guarded them during this, as their forces deployed on that imaginary inter-entity line showed that this border is respected in international circles.

Today, after Christian Schmidt definitively proved that he is, after all, only the High Representative for the Federation of BiH (Bosniaks), it seems that the division of Bosnia has never been clearer, unfortunately!

And precisely here, it needs to be factually shown how the Chief Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, Milanko Kajganić, played a double game where the sheep are counted, but the wolf has yet to feast.

There should be no doubt that the course of Milorad Dodik's trial will be in the public spotlight, and that he, along with his compromised defense, will try to mock the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a way similar to how the criminal Vojislav Šešelj behaved before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague.

Kajganić has partially satisfied the pro-Bosnian public with the indictment, and further pleased the foreign factor, which largely welcomed the indictment, which was written in such a way that it could not have been confirmed without revisions!

It is also possible to expect Dodik to decide on that final step – withdrawing from BiH institutions, and the Prosecutor's Office and the BiH Court are precisely that, so logically, if they withdraw, he will not appear for trials!

This is the direction things are heading, because Staša Košarac clearly stated today, after consultations with representatives of Serbs in BiH institutions, that if Christian Schmidt's provocations continue, one of the responses will be withdrawal from BiH institutions.

And if that were to happen, then it is clear how poorly we negotiated during the distribution of power at the state level. All significant functions important for this area – security – are held precisely by Serbs. And by SNSD cadres. The Service for Foreigners' Affairs, SIPA, OSA (Risto Zarić leads all operations), the Ministry of Security of BiH...

The circle is closed, Dodik is happy. The 'Trojka' (coalition of SDP, NiP, NS) is on life support, because it's not the same when Slobodan Ujić sits in SPS, for example, or now Žarko Laketa. We will see this now after Laketa's statements questioning Schmidt's stay in BiH!. Elmedin Konaković's justification here, that they were Serbs, falls apart. It's also not the same when Dragan Mektić was in the Ministry of Security or now Nenad Nešić... It's not the same, and both are Serbs.

However, Ambassador Michael Murphy insisted that SNSD be part of the government, leaving the opposition from RS in the narrative of 'they are all the same', at the mercy of Dodik and the public there, so Schmidt, to prove his legitimacy, sought a meeting with them.

They logically refused, so he was left with Bosniaks in RS, but even that didn't work, so Schmidt canceled the meetings.

And while he announces that RS has many friends and that it is seeking what was allocated and received by the Dayton Peace Agreement (although they received much more), the indictment of the BiH Prosecutor's Office is one in a series of deceptions cooked up in some basements of Serbian politics that strive for the division of BiH.

Therefore, this process should be viewed objectively and without great fanfare, so that we do not again find ourselves on the defensive, where we will be proving to Dodik that the state of BiH exists, while he mocks Milanko Kajganić's well-directed farce.

Because, the Prosecutor's Office previously stated that they filed the indictment for the criminal offense of non-implementation of the decision of the High Representative from Article 203a, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH, which was recently amended by High Representative Christian Schmidt precisely so that his decisions would be respected in RS.

This criminal offense carries a penalty of six months to five years in prison. There are no indications after confirmation that the indictment specifies the overthrow of the constitutional order.

And precisely this is the biggest objection, that the indictment was not initiated for an attack on the constitutional order, because in that case, he could have received a heavier sentence.
